I decided to do another painting for Blizzard's other contest, the holiday fan art calender contest. The prize is a Wacom Cintiq. Which is super sweet, so I give it everything I got. I'm impressed with the results, but looking at it now it might be a bit overworked.

Holiday Cheer
I've been super lazy to keep this blog up, started a new job a few months ago so I've been tired too. However, I managed to pull this contest submission out of the nether and win too, woot! The prize was a whole set of gaming peripherals: keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, head phones all from Razer as well as a special holiday card from Blizzard. Here's my winning entry.

Tuggin' the Tuskarr
Submitted a new comic to the WoW comic contest this month. It's inspired by the Tuskarr, everybody's favorite dumpy buck-toothed race. Tried out a few new different techniques in this one, and used a few tried and true ones. I'm especially impressed with how the digital marker technique shined through, it worked well with the comic too.

Scriffito
I wanted to do something simple today. This was an exercise in making a piece of work with one unifying technique. I used to employ a scriffito technique on copper board covered in black paint so I tried it in a very minimalistic way here. Not sure I like how it turned out, especially with the impromptu subject matter.
